Food Inflation Ki Current Situation

Honestly yaar, kitchen budget manage karna mushkil ho gaya hai. March 2026 mein food inflation 7.2% pe pahunch gaya hai, jo target se kaafi upar hai.

Major cities mein vegetable prices ka breakdown dekho:

  • Mumbai: Tomatoes ₹80/kg, Onions ₹55/kg, Potatoes ₹45/kg
  • Delhi: Tomatoes ₹75/kg, Onions ₹60/kg, Green chillies ₹120/kg
  • Bengaluru: Capsicum ₹85/kg, Carrots ₹50/kg, Beans ₹70/kg
  • Chennai: Drumsticks ₹90/kg, Ladies finger ₹65/kg, Brinjal ₹40/kg

Matlab common man ka budget completely disturbed ho gaya hai bhai!

RBI Ka Strategy Aur Interest Rates

Reserve Bank of India under Shaktikanta Das ki leadership mein inflation target 4% (+/- 2%) maintain karne ki koshish kar raha hai. Current repo rate 6.5% hai, jo last 8 months se same hai.

Banking sector mein impact dekho toh:

  • State Bank of India (SBI): Home loan rates 8.85% se start
  • HDFC Bank: Personal loan rates 10.5% onwards
  • ICICI Bank: Car loan rates 8.7% se 12.5% range mein
  • Axis Bank: Fixed deposits 6.75% max returns de raha hai

Petrol Diesel Aur Transportation Costs

Fuel prices bhi pocket mein hole kar rahe hain yaar. March 2026 mein major cities ka rate card:

  • Mumbai: Petrol ₹108.50/litre, Diesel ₹94.20/litre
  • Delhi: Petrol ₹105.75/litre, Diesel ₹92.10/litre
  • Bengaluru: Petrol ₹110.25/litre, Diesel ₹95.80/litre
  • Chennai: Petrol ₹107.90/litre, Diesel ₹93.45/litre

Transportation cost increase ka direct impact sabko feel ho raha hai. Auto rickshaw fares Mumbai mein ₹25 minimum, Delhi metro ka monthly pass ₹800 ho gaya hai.

Housing Aur Rent Inflation

Real estate sector mein bhi prices sky-high hain bhai. Metro cities mein rental rates dekho:

  • Mumbai: 1BHK average ₹35,000-50,000 in Andheri, Bandra areas
  • Delhi NCR: 2BHK Gurgaon mein ₹25,000-40,000 range
  • Bengaluru: Tech parks ke paas 1BHK ₹20,000-35,000
  • Pune: IT hubs near 2BHK ₹18,000-28,000 demand

Housing loan EMIs bhi increase ho rahe hain because of higher interest rates. ₹50 lakh loan pe monthly EMI around ₹45,000-48,000 aa raha hai.

Mujhe lagta hai 2026 mein inflation control karna government aur RBI ke liye biggest challenge hai. Common man ko relief milega ki nahi, that depends on monsoon performance aur global commodity prices pe. Till then, budget planning tight rakhni padegi yaar!
